    Huge General Phish Thread

I heard a little bit of Mixlr audio last night, but the sound quality wasn't good enough to analyze anything. However, I really liked his tone with TAB on the recent Levitate webcast, and those New Orleans webcasts back in the Spring. Very much looking forward to the webcast tomorrow night.

I guess he's just doing a character, like Buckethead or something. Outside of the Mono garb he's just a regular dude named Dwayne. I think he looks pretty cool personally. It seems like a fun thing, sort of like when the members of P-Funk had distinct looks and costumes.

Oh cool, I'm going to be on the lookout for more Mono in the future. I was totally blown away by that webcast the other night. He is off the charts.

Russo and Krasno live from the Brooklyn Bowl, second set just started. edit: this guy Mono, who I wasn't familiar with before tonight, is insane. Someone told me he's played with Prince. He's really setting the tone of the music, freakin awesome.

This is great. I like how he gives hints about what show it is in the beginning but doesn't actually say what it is until setbreak. It adds an extra bit of fun to what is already a cool thing.

Nice, that was one of my favorite shows to listen to back in the day. Haven't heard it in years.

Same here, except it was already out. When I got hooked on Phish around 1999 it was their most recent album, and was definitely one of the main things I latched onto. Slip Stitch and Pass was the other immediate thing I have such a strong connection to. Obviously as you become a Phish fan all of their amazing things come to the surface, A Live One, etc., etc. but Story of the Ghost and Slip Stitch just give me that zen nostalgic feeling.

She works at Federal Donuts, the shop that made the donuts for Baker's Dozen. She was also promoting some other Philly establishment where she's a waitress and event planner. I might stalk her next time I'm in Philly.

This episode gave me some serious chills. Never ever saw the northern lights.
