  1. Isn’t it ‘Racism Day’ (er..Confederate Day) in Alabama today? ETA: looks like it was yesterday.

This is Phish dorkery at its finest. I like it.
  3. Wow, they're really busting out a ton of Phish material. Julius, Ghost, Faulty Plan, Blaze On, GBOTT, show of life, undermind, party time, etc.. Also, when was the last time they played The Way I Feel? Set One: Blaze On, Party Time[1], Undermind, Gotta Jibboo, Back on the Train, Alaska, Soul Planet, Sand Set Two: Corona > The Way I Feel, Stealing Time From the Faulty Plan > Mr. Completely > Bug, Set Your Soul Free, Ghost, Julius Encore: Brian and Robert[2], More[2], Show of Life, First Tube

Yeah. Great show. I was that guy recording a video with my phone during the Destiny jam. Not the best sound quality, but here it is...

Page sat in with most of the first set at Mike’s show tonight. Finally got my first Destiny Unbound..even if it was just half of Phish.

oooooo...Billy Breathes being released on vinyl for Record Store Day. I'm sure they'll charge some absurd price for it. They'll have aluminum numbers on them..that will probably increase the price by $40.

    Curveball Festival, Watkins Glen, NY

That's still cheaper than the Riviera Maya shows.

I'm going to pass on this. Already spending $ on Dicks (and would rather stay in a hotel in Colorado than stay awake for 4 straight days camping at this thing), and also hoping to do a trip to Sweden this summer. Also have Radiohead Montreal tickets that weekend.

Just tell her you have an important work conference to travel to.

  14. I was at that show! Out of all the concerts I've ever seen, that one has always stood out in my mind as one of my top few in terms of pure fun and joy I've had at a show. I used to have the show on tape, but haven't heard this show in probably 20 years. This recording doesn't convey the sound and energy in that room, but still sounds pretty good. For the 6 or so years before this show, seeing Trey play in a small venue didn't happen (aside from the rare sit-in). While I've since gotten used to seeing Trey in smaller venues (both with TAB, as well as numerous sit-ins in Burlington in the decade or so after this), I had previously only seen Trey from far away in large arenas. I had moved to Burlington just a few months before this show (and was 22-years-old), and seeing Trey (the guitar player I idolized, of course) in a venue that fit maybe 500 people, and being just a couple people back from the stage for the whole show was an incredibly surreal and euphoric experience. TAB wasn't a thing. Nobody really knew what to expect for the electric set, aside from hearing shitty recordings of parts of the Florescent Tube show that came before it. The majority of the set (covers and originals) were all debuts. We were watching Trey leading a band other than phish for the first time, and playing stuff such as Come on baby let’s go downtown, Bell Bottom Blues; and Row Jimmy in a club venue. The energy in the place was off the hook, as it was really the first time most people there saw Trey in this small of a venue (save the few in the crowd that had been around since the bar days).
  15. Way to rain on the guy's 5 minutes of fame.
