Nice. Would def. like to check out Willie and Neal at least. Willie's new album of Frank Sinatra covers is surprisingly decent.

Exactly. It tells a story (Rift as well), which is how I like to listen to records. Lights off, no stopping till it's over. It isn't just a collection of songs like their recent "efforts".

I will say that it's the one album of theirs I'd most like to have in that format... very organic/acoustic/whatever you want to call it.

Billy Breathes re-re out on vinyl 10/26. Missed opportunity to release some more white colored vinyl, IMO. https://drygoods.phish.com/dept/billy-breathes?cp=773_103382 ETA: red would have been another cool choice. I typically spend about half this much on 2 180g... I just don't understand why they charge so much. I hate to see a wasted side as well, only 3/4 have music. Fall 96 anyone?

I think part of it is just trying to get this out of the way before NYE announcement. I'd be hesitant to go to this regardless of Curveball just based on the past two, but that cancellation certainly has to be having an impact on these tix.

Yep, announcement 9/10 and then tix onsale 9/14. Followup 9/19. That's a good point though, this may be it if it doesn't sell.

Now I'm-a stream it. Outside of vinyl, the last CD box set I bought was Phish At The Roxy. And I don't see myself buying anymore. I don't have a CD player anymore... I mean I could rip them into iTunes but only since my laptop is kinda old. At that point what do I do with them, coasters?

Pretty funny that they've already had to send out a "hey guys... this is on sale btw..." email. I'm guessing it isn't selling as fast as the last two times. ETA: Yeah there are a ton of rooms left. I needed that reminder to buy the $500 BD box set though! (10)

Forgot about that! Super cool... dunno if that's a reason to push it out though. I wonder how many of the splatter color vinyl were pressed? I do wonder what happened to all the art installation stuff. Maybe it's all sitting in a warehouse somewhere, waiting until next summer...

Seems like just another disappointment to fans that wanted to pick it up. Don't quite get why they are pushing it off until a later date, at least have a lottery like they did for the festival posters. Oh well.

I would hope those of us that got Cancellballed will get a first crack at it, like that sweet sweet merch. Personally, I'm not interested in owning it. Phish vinyl is just stupid expensive.

I'm not reading too much into it, it seems like this is what most jambands are doing in the winter. The shows in Mexico have been pretty meh. I'll still tune in and hope for the best, and it will be the first Phish of 2019 as far as we know currently. I think given how the Baker's Dozen went (which felt like clinching a new pinnacle for the band) there was a lot of momentum heading into this summer. But it was just weird, from the attacks at the Gorge to Cancelball... Will we ever see a spring tour from this band again? It would at least be something fresh.
