    Curveball Festival, Watkins Glen, NY

Glamping = thousands (ballers only need apply tho--obv) If we went we'd probably be looking into RVs, like the good mini-ballers we are. And we party like thousandaires. So there's multiple ways to answer your question, to be honest. (((Money is not my issue personally, but surely if it costs $450 to get in the door, you can expect to spend at least 1K overall. Or at least that's how we do it. You wooks suit yourself. )))

Didn't you see the bed option, for a mere $2,345 ($1,172.50 per person)? It sounds like it will be another awesome Phish event, no doubt, but I admit I'm struggling to feel interested... too many fantasies of incredible places I've wanted to visit, where ~2.5--3K would make for an amazing vacation. I'd LOVE to go glamping somewhere but Watkins Glen, NY has not topped the list of fantasy locations quite yet. Also, I've now already spent hundreds of dollars for 3 nights of Phish including a weekend away directly before the fest. Gotta love a strategy that ensures they sell out their full tour first. Guess you could say I'm squarely on the fence but trending "no" I'll go ahead and help myself over to the "Signs you're getting old" thread, or maybe the travel forum. Can anyone tell me if there's anything awesome about the location I should be aware of as I form my final opinion?

    Phish Summer 2018 Tour

We put in for merriwether and one night of Camden. (Figure we’ll go to one of those two... knowing me I’ll get lawns for Camden in “lottery” )

    Phish Summer 2018 Tour

Yes! that's the night I mentioned above, right before Coventry. Definitely super sketchy. I remember thinking, "Wow so this is Jersey eh?" Pretty sure that's the first time I saw people on H at a show. Gross, disturbing, etc..

    Phish Summer 2018 Tour

I heard Trey wanted to slow it way down so everyone could realize just how clever he really is

I should have added an important detail.... I still had Texas plates on the car at the time -- no way in hell I was stopping! **I don't know why that matters, but my gut told me it mattered** ETA, the honest truth about how I got out of this pickle? I just kept taking all the "south" roads I could find until I FINALLY found 95 south somehow. I am an idiot! LOL!~

    Phish Summer 2018 Tour

My first Camden show must have been 2004 (?).... I hadn't been in Delaware very long and drove up there by myself, all innocent and unknowing. Everything went peachy until I missed The TurnTM onto 95 south after the show, and found myself more lost than I had ever been. I pulled into a couple different gas stations to ask for help and they were so sketchy, I just pulled right back out I think it took about 3 hours to get home (shoulda been about 30 minutes). Whatever you do, don't miss your turn back onto the highway! YOU WILL BE SORRY! And yeah, kinda funny to see all these awesome venues like Tahoe and the Gorge, and you're like man this band rules everyone's faces, then you see Camden and you're all like

TAHOTWZ shrug? the very specific ones are hilarious. This is my best attempt. Eta Although this kinda reads like ‘the hot wiz’ which could maybe get misinterpreted LOL

Analyze Phish podcast w/ Harris Wittels Scott Aukerman

Wow I listened to these a while back on a road trip home, and had forgotten how much his death haunted me.. we enjoyed the podcasts but definitely bittersweet listening knowing he had passed. Fucking opiates man. Stay away, stay far far away.
  13. Nada here as well... tried to call for about an hour and never even got through. Oh well, I think we're just gonna see if Trey wants to stop by before the show. I mean we're his biggest and coolest fans in town obv so I don't see why he wouldn't take us up on it.
  14. My schedule is so not cooperating with this. I can't even help at 12, will be stuck in meetings 11 to 1. Good luck everyone.. I'm gonna try by calling or online at 10 here but definitely not holding my breath.
  15. I hear you @wil-san. I only tried to be mature about it, I do agree, I feel it's pretty tacky. They don't turn every fucking show into a chance to grow their membership. I really can't roll my eyes hard enough in their general direction. I sure hope everyone with hundreds to spare for opera membership and hours to spare for line-standing have a great farking time!!!!!!!
