So wife is going down early. Crazy ice cancelled all our plans. I'm probably going to join everyone tonight. What are the chat details? I know it changed formats recently

14 years ago. Great meetup at this show! I'm pretty sure we walked to the venue from my house, Whitty stayed with me that weekend and I ran into Roamer at biscuitville the next day.

Jen was childhood friends with an ex girlfriend of mine. I went to their wedding in NYC about a decade ago. It's great to see she has made a career out of her passions.

Trey Anastasio (born Ernest Joseph Anastasio III on September 30, 1964)

Yeah, I also saw a lot of shows on that tour, 2 nights at red rocks, st louis, alpine, deer creek, the Mann, and a NJ date I think. That was the high water mark for TAB live shows for me, I remember when the album came out not really digging on how some of the arrangements changed. Anyone have a link to recordings of those medeski shows? I used to have them on disc. -
yeah the Asheville rumors are buzzing strong around here. If they are going to do something in January I imagine it'd have to be announced soon.

Pretty solid show. First set was funky and deep. The Llama was slowed down and funky and pretty much set the tone of the rest of the set. Golden age and no Quarter were second set highlights. Well played overall. Trey had some timing issues in Reba but they were all gracefully recovered. Saw so many old friends! Met up with trumpus on lot and swapped some dank brews. I've certainly missed it and look forward to catching shows regularly again, but if we hadn't taken the break when we did I would have never had the opportunity to travel to Bali and Japan or see our friends get married in Tortola. See y'all on couch tour for the remainder.

Anyone else gonna be there tonight? This is my first show since 2011, which was also at Walnut Creek and coincidentally we got almost identical seats through PTBM (Same seats, same row, one section over) I'd love a Curtain, Golgi and I'm still chasing Fluffhead.

Open air pavilion for Raleigh. Haven't seen a show since '11.
-
I have a hold for the exact amount of my request. Just the Raleigh show.
-
Haven't been to a show since '11, We're only shooting for Raleigh so we can drop of the new little guy at the grandparent's house on the way.

I didn't notice it clearly until recently, but it's always been there, it's even in the hoist book.

Page had two nords for the second set. One was set up like a sampler. Keys would trigger all the samples and narration. I'm assuming they were nor stages which can emulate piano, electric piano, clav and organ. So essentially most of the classic page sounds were still available to him, they just may sound a little bit different. He had a nord for the jemp truck set too.

Yup, that funky up-the-fretboard tap-bend-release

First listen: meh. There were certainly some moments that stood out and caught my ear, and some tasty Trey licks here and there. But as a whole, not something I'll revisit. I'll give it a few more listens before making final judgement. I like the Page song Honestly I haven't really latched on to more than a track or two from any of their studio albums after farmhouse.
