It's the first good look at Inception and it looks awesome. Could be the best movie of the summer given Nolan's past work (not just Dark Knight, but stuff closer to this like Momento). The look of the trailer reminds me of Momento mixed with Dark City and the Matrix. Surreal and sure to be somewhat confusing on a first view.

trailer 3
From reading reviews after the press screening, audience metaphor meters are going to burst after one viewing. I'm avoiding any trailer viewings - want to go in dry.

If it makes her feel better, just bring the kid and let him sleep in the car in the parking lot. She can run out to check on him.
I really want to see this in the theater, too.

I told her we can leave a cell phone open in his room then she can call it and leave it on after he goes to sleep. When we are at the movie theater she can have her earpiece in one ear to hear if he's making any noise. Its like a long distance baby monitor. The theater is like 3 minutes from the house, what's the big deal?

That's such an impossible comparison to make. But, I will say in a world minus one Stanley Kubrick, I'm glad we have added one Christopher Nolan.
Style wise I don't think they are even close to the same thing. Stanley's near OCD level of obsession has yet to be matched, nor will be in my opinion. You can see Kubrick influence in Nolan for sure, but you can see that influence in a ton of directors.

This movie is to those already harboring slight paranoia as death by chocolate is to those with diabetes. Good movie.

Agree. In fact, exposition can be tedious at points. The turmoil generated in this movie isn't based on narrative confusion but rather in the little tugs on the tricks of waking consciousness and faulty memory.
