I like to mix it up a bit but as far as a "go to," it has to be this:

I quit the hard stuff years ago, but still enjoy a REAL dark chocolate frequently. This is my go-to:

This thread made me go to the gas station (0).

I'm eating a Reese's Cup and drinking Mountain Dew. Got some Sour Skittles for later. I'm also watching The Wizard on HBO.

When we were all kids, did people our age (30-40) eat as much candy as our generation does now? I don't recall seeing many grown ups eating candy when I was a kid. I remember seeing my parents eat candy bars and peppermints, but that's about it. I remember thinking I would eventually grow out of eating candy.

Gummies, hands down. When none are around, I may go for some Skittles but it's always fruity flavored, I don't like chocolate

I always hoped they would realize there was a market for a whole pack of dippers.

These are pretty awesome too, giant chewy sweet tarts

Seasoned Citizens got down to a diffeent style of candy in their youth which doesn't need to be in the A/C. So, they were mainly hard candies ala Horehound, Butterscotch, and Peppermints.

But they have to be chilled in the fridge first, for maximum chewiness.
