If a server on my staff got screwed, and the customers were still there, I'd stop by and see what the problem was with the service. More often that not they were just cheap, and I sure as hell used that leverage to make 'em feel about 2" big. God I fucking hate people.

I worked in bars/restaurants to pay my way though school both times. So, $8 is only 5%, which would barely cover the server's tipout.

I hope next time she gets a good case of food poisoning and a cunny-kick.

I tried to watch this... I really did. I determined that my sanity/anger level was not worth subjecting myself to this bitch. I only briefly waited tables, but worked in a counter-service establishment for years. The "why I gotta tip?" bullshit mentality really does illustrate one of the things wrong with the country.

I think this was brought up in a tipping thread or somewhere.

If you can't afford the tip at a nice restaurant, then you should not eat there. More than likely the service will be excellent and they deserve the tip.
